Back when I was young I sent requests to some NFL teams and got a variety of goodies. Bumper stickers, team photographs, pocket schedules even a media guide or two.
My older son is interested in trying this out in baseball.
Do baseball teams do this sort of thing? Any suggestions on how to phrase the request would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Yep, they are called "Fan Packs." Best way to go about this is emailing teams. Go to their websites and find the link near the bottom of the page that has their contact info- there will be an email address for more info usually. I recently sent a request for a fan pack to the Red Sox and included my home address. About a week later, I got back a package that included a baggy of infield dirt from Fenway, along with some postcards, schedules and a letter from their "Ambassador." Good luck!

Out of curiosity, who'd you get, Biggie? The Broncos never responded to my request, but the Chiefs sent me a slick magazine for a couple years and autographed pictures of Brad Budde and Bill Kenney.
Here's a previous thread on the subject.

This was back in the early 70s so my memory is hazy.
The Packers sent an auto postcard of Donny Anderson
The Dolphins sent a team picture and a bumper sticker
The Broncos sent an autopen postcard with two players (one was Floyd Little) on it, a decal and a press guide.
The Giants sent a newsletter and a team picture.
The Chiefs sent an autographed picture of Willie Lanier
Thanks for the help.
