According to MLB.com NO mets are leading the ballot
surprising, since you would think the mets fans would at least vote for Wright in an abundance..but hes second behind Chipper Jones who leads with 100,000
Reyes is in third with Hanley in first and tejada right behind him
and beltran is fourth for outfielders
those are the three players who i would think have the best shot at starting for the team...but i would like to see Wright make the team, cause i know he can pull out of this slump and we all know that chipper wont have a .400 avg all season.

We really need to vote our guys in on this game... just imagine how much it would tick off the Steinbrenners if the NL starting lineup of the All-Star Game held in their building was full of Mets...
If not for you, if not for me, do it for Mr. Met...

I put in my 25 for:
Wright
Beltran
Church
Schnieder
Without a moments hesitation I also put in 25 for Jimmy Rollings. He deserves it.

Does any Met DESERVE to lead their position in the ballot?

Who the hell is Jimmy Rollings? Is he a write in candidate?
The correct answer at shortstop in the NL is Hanley Ramierez anyway.
Of the Mets players, only Church deserves a definate vote, Schneider deserves some consideration, given his improvement at the plate and his impact upon the Mets pitching staff, but his increased number of passed balls and lost time due to the thumb problem probably eliminate him getting in.

Molina and Snyder. Wagner deserves to be on the team and Church should get consideration but this year like pretty much every year has to strong a group of players for him to make the team. Wright will likely make the team but he shouldn't start the game and if he does make the team he will potentially be bumping two very good players in Atkins and Ramirez but that is just my opinion.
