I'd like to post a digital video I am taking of some of my team to be evaluated. How is the best way to get them on the forum from my computer?

Youtube is an option but I prefer photobucket. Both are free, but with youtube you don't know who's looking. Photobucket allows you to just post the link. It also seems to retain more resolution when you upload.

I'm just getting into this myself, so I'm interested in other suggestions as well.

Try Youtube. you can always make it private to friends and family.

The problem with youtube is that it is harder to download clips from it. A lot people will take the clips and turn them into GIF's. Also, the pause system on youtube is annoying.
