Hit-N Stick ok to use?

A friend suggested that using a Hit-N-Stick (or similar batting tool) may not be good for the bat. I don't want to ruin a good bat by having my son and his teammates using their new pricey bats pounding away on the stick.

Does anyone know if the Hit-N-Stick bulb can premateurely damage aluminum or composite metal bats?

Yes - the head of most hitting sticks are harder than balls. When doing hitting stick drills I use practice bats.

I f the kids are young, I dont think they can hit hard enough to damage the bats. I'd say U11 for the most part, unless you have a big boy - and there are lots of those for nowadays. Some might say it could help composite bats to break it in...
