I will not be visiting New Yankee Stadium or Dodger Stadium during the 2009 Major League Baseball Season. I will visit New Busch Stadium for nearly every game in 2009. :D

Back on topic.:dance Here is a ballpark I created on the Sims 2. Its not functional but it was alot of fun to build because you have get creative with what your allowed to do.

Then I decided to do some renovations which included moving the park to the waterfront. Added a batters eye and a park with monuments. Enjoy!

No...basically just for looks. Its more of a park that they (your "sims") can walk around in. I'm working on another but its not even close to being done. Ill post it when I am done though.:)

If you have the game get to work! My suggestion is to use stairs for "seating" instead of trying to use chairs.

Anyone have any ideas? I can try and add more stuff. I might add a pool if the mood strikes me. I also might try to design something in the grass like a team name or something depends on how hard it is. Its downtown so hopefully I can get some shots of the buildings at night and show off how cool that looks! Also anyone have an idea of what color to make the roof? Its just concreate on some parts for now, but any input would help!

I would add an upper deck. You have to use a cheat code to add and remove posts. Or...for the old time feel keep the posts. To bring up the cheat box hold (Ctrl Shift C) and then type (move_objects on).

Can't you also put the posts up build on them then remove them? I would def. love a third level about the luxary boxes, even if its all luxary boxes on the 2nd level. What about the size of the field is the outfield too big? Because if so I can move the seats up and add a hallway with a walking area above it if need be.

Yeah you can remove them after like I did. Your oufield looks fine. I know I made my infield to big. Another thing I did, if you notice I lowered the lot quite a bit. I did it more for looks that anything. Ill try to post some pics of the progress of my new one tonight.

Another update. Not quite done yet, but getting close.

I had some ideas; not sure if they could be implemented in a non cheesy way though. You find a sprawling prewar factory complex, with a courtyard, and convert it into a stadium. Think of the main concourse with large structural steel trusses exposed over head. The outside would be restored, hopefully with old painted on advertisments from the 30's and 40's, similar to PETCO in left field. The facade would hopefully look very similar to Chiba Lotte stadium - just a wall of brick with arched windows stretching up the block. And, hopefully, you could incorporate an original smokestack as one of the foul poles. This all might be taking the whole factory style too far, but, if it was done right, it might work. Hopefully it would look similar to the opening scene from The Babe, or whatever that Babe Ruth movie was called (don't really remember).

Left field outside, you can see the expanded party deck with bars, tables, and seats. Also you can see where the seats stop there are rooms that are either for concourses or party rooms. Either way it kind of looks like petco's factory.
