Jim Tabor actually hit four homers on July 4th, 1939
In a July 4, 1939 twin bill with the Philadelphia Athletics, Jim hit four homeruns. Three of these were in the second game and two of them were grand slams, (one of which was inside the park). On that day, Jim drove in 11 runs.
