You may want to turn on the Sox game or run over to MLB.com. I've heard it's been a pretty good game.
Just saying. :shhh:

LETS GO ROYALS!!!!! :cap:
If he does get it, he deserves it, after all he's had to deal with
but i'm still cheering for the Royals this inning!

Side note: If he wasn't pitching as well as he is, he should be taken out. 113 is a lot of pitches, and Lester isn't exactly a durable veteran.

Is this ump crazy or what? Two clear strikes get called balls, then one that's a good four inches inside gets called a ball.
Following up on my earlier post, based just on Gameday, he looks really tired.

what the heck? mlb.com? it froze when lester lifted his leg on the final pitch, then I see in the background (I had mlb.com in the back enlarged across the screen) it refreshed and showed that the game had ended. MLB.com didn't want to show any more than they needed to or what? They cut it off too early, i'm a little unhappy about that.
But anyways, congrats to Jon Lester on getting a no hitter (now I need to see my Yankees start getting those!)

IMO, the most amazing part was that his 130th (and final) pitch was 96 MPH.

Great battle to get through that last inning as he was obviously gassed. So happy for him.
And another nod to Tek who has called several No-Nos and seemed to push the right buttons in conjunction with Lester tonight.

I believe that's 4 for V-tek, which I also believe is the record.

Congrats to Jon, great story and a great pitcher. 24 years old and he has already accomplished more than most pitchers.
