I've been doing TTM for awhile guys. I've never had a problem this serious. I get the cards back autographed but the autograph partially comes off in the envelope. I erase and powder the cards aswell. It seems to only be the Tristar cards though.

Example One (http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i195/rwolfe09/newpics/donnelly.jpg) (Not so bad)
Example Two (http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i195/rwolfe09/newpics/hanson.jpg)
Example Three (http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i195/rwolfe09/newpics/brown.jpg)
Example Four (http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i195/rwolfe09/newpics/cox.jpg) (not so bad either)
Example Five (http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i195/rwolfe09/newpics/berlind.jpg)

I use the security envelopes. Should I switch to the other kind of envelope or can I not control this? Help will be greatly appreciated because this is flipping me out. Thats me, seriously. ---> :grouchy

Ryan,
I don't think that it is your envelopes. I use the security envelopes also as my sase. If I were a betting man, I would say that it is the type of pen that they are using. MOST of my tri-star cards look like yours, but I never get any "bleed off" on the inside of the envelope.
Hope this helps you.

I think it is the Tristar cards. I mean yeah I have the autographs but they aren't the best. As long as I'm not the only one that this is happening to. Thanks for the advice AC.

I agree that it's probably less the envelope and more the card. I have had the same problem with glossy cards, and have been trying to send only non-glossy cards TTM lately.

It is tough because a lot of prospects have ONLY glossy cards...whether they're minor league team issues, bowman, or TriStar.

This is the last time I'll use Tristar. I hate getting cards back like that. I'll just have to search around and find some non-glossy cards. I barely ever (close to never) have that problem with MLB cards but the MILB cards, I'll be lucky to not get a messed up one.
