I am new to this great site, and I'm very impressed with the photos; The '67-'73 Yankee Stadium photos mean alot to me after visiting the Stadium in 1968 as a child.

We saw Oakland in August that year; a thunderstorm whipped up; the tarp got away from the groundskeepers, and young people poured out of the bleachers to slide on the grass.

I was wondering if anyone might have any pictures of the Angels at Dodger Stadium in their early years, and the Yankees during their sojourn at Shea.

Here's one of the Yankees in Shea for bat day. If you squint, you can see the Yankees logo on top of the scoreboard.

Ok, this one is special.

This is Marilyn Monroe less than two months before her death in 1962. She's making a plea to the crowd for MDA donations.

Blasphemy. Pure blasphemy. Like a relative moved into your house while you were out of town and re-upholstered all the furniture.

The Angels never had a stadium so good.
