Miller Park does have great food. They still have the Stadium Sauce?

I'm also partial to Dodger Dogs.

1) AT & T - Crab sandwich, garlic fries, Anchor Steam.

2) Wrigley - Various sausages and Old Style.

3) Miller / Old County - Brats with the secret sauce.

4) MinuteMaid Park and Kauffman Stadium - Good BBQ sandwiches with local brews, names of which I can't remember.

5) Metrodome - Dome Dogs.

I really want to get to PNC to see the park and try one of those Primanti sandwiches that I've only seen on TV.

If you guys think Wrigley has good food then McDonalds must be a five-star catered affair.

Wrigley is a great place, yes, but yoda's right... the only thing that taste good at wrigley is the warm old style... and even that is being manipulated by the overwhelming idea of sitting in the friendly confines.

their nachoes are stale and every hotdog I've ever eaten there was smashed and some were even, dare I say, soggy....

(despite the prices, see the concession forum for more) I think that Comerica food is always fresh and tastes really good. Everyone already mentioned Miller Park, which (from memory) I think is probably my favorite.

I'll be at Busch Stadium tomorrow so I'll ask the horde of Cub fans going with me if they're liking the food better in St Louis or Chicago......

The only thing I really like from wrigley is the hot dog grill place on the LD on the 3rd base side. I think they're called Windy City Red Hots or something.

They cook them on the grill fresh and go good with a warm old style.

In fact that's the only thing I get from any baseball park, a dog from the grill.

The best food I've ever had from any venue are the french fries from the United Center in Chicago. They fry them up fresh and put this salt/lime seasoning on there....*drool*

Warm Old Style? That is the worst of both worlds. Why not just go to Minneapolis and have a Pig's Eye straight from last night's cup? It would probably be better.

I have been to over forty stadiums at differant levels of the pros. If you are going to keep this strictly to food in the stadium; then Miller Park wins hands down. A nice brat, some stadium sauce and onions, and a Leinie's Berryweise to wash it down with. If you really love the sauce; you can now pick it up from Pick-n-Save's around the city. It is missing a little something, even though it is close.

For those that might bring a little one to the game: get the kid's meal. A dog, chips, a soda-pop, and some cards. It is much cheeper than trying to put a snack together. The cinny almonds are a great treat for after for all folks.

I found Shea to have some interesting choices as well. The Brooklyn Beer was pretty good, but much better flavours can be found outside of the stadium.

If you are going to include right around the stadium; Wrigley wins easily.

The worst inside and out? Pawtuckett or New Haven. You flip a coin and you'll be correct.

My favorite food and drink are a super Dodger Dog and a Coca-Cola in a souviner cup at Dodger Stadium.

Gotta go with Philadelphia with the Schmitter and Tony Luke's Cheesesteaks. The Schmitter is steak, onions, melted cheese, salami, tomatoes and a special sauce on a kaiser roll.

What in the world does Yankee Stadium have that's so good? All they have are mediocre hot dogs, stale pizza, and chicken fingers with fries, all of which is way overpriced. The hot italian sausage is good though, I'll give you that. And Shea Stadium eight miles away isn't any better.

I love Citizen's Bank Park. The one time I went there I had amazing buffalo wings, and a Philly cheese steak, naturally.:)

You have to know what to get. The Italian sausage is great at Yankee Stadium. Conversely, if you go to Miller Park and order theirs, it tastes like crap and reminds you that there are not enough Italian-Americans in Milwaukee (yes I'm biased, lol). But if you get something they know, a Leinie's beer and a brat, you will not be disappointed. When at Wrigley you gotta get the Red-Hot Chicago dogs with all the toppings. Always go for the regional flavor and you can't lose.

The hot dogs at shea are my favorite kind, and i like the ice cream stands they put in recently, as well as the natural lemonade and the italian sausages. I also like the cotton candy, pizza and so on. I dunno where you got your pizza from, but it's NOT stale. Darnit, now i want to go to a game to get some food. not going again till the 12th unless i can score cheap mez or loge seats for may15th.

Oh, cannot agree. The Italian Sausages there are great. Just because the Milwaukee outfit was run from Chicago doesn't mean the city doesn't have deep Italian-American roots.... :D

I have to go with Citizens Bank Park. Nothing quite like a Philly Cheesesteak.

Citi Field and the new Yankee Stadium need to have better food than they have now. At Shea, the Italian sausages are really good, and a lot of people rave about Mama's of Corona (I haven't tried any of their stuff, I keep meaning to), but other than that, the Mets don't have any sort of signature, must-have food item. Same goes for Yankee Stadium... I've never noticed any sort of concession item that they're famous for.

We're talking about New York, which has to be one of the best food cities in the world.

Really, Mets? With all the good pizza in New York, you sell Sbarros? Fixing that has to be a start. Get one of the Ray's or some other pizza place in the city, and have them be in charge of pizza around the ballpark. Get rid of Subway, and have some real delis inside the park. Maybe even a bagel place.

Supposedly the Mets have signed deals with the Shake Shack to have burgers and shakes, and the Fish Shack for seafood. That's a start.

We've been bringing our own food to the park for years. But I can remember being so happy as a kid to buy a chocolate/vanilla ice cream Dixie cup with the little wooden tongue depresser thingie.:dance
Does anyone know if there are plans at Citi Field (or New Yankee Stadium) to offer Middle Eastern/Mediterranean foods like felafel or gyros? Do any stadiums have real felafel stands? That would be a fabulous choice for veggie folks, not to mention people who eat Kosher or Halal.

I don't know... they were tasty, but not spicy enough. The only place to get decent Italian food in Milwaukee is Glorioso's, and that's one little store in a city of 700,000. If Miller Park got their Italian Sausages there instead of from Johnsonville I would be happy. I just think Johnsonville is better at what they are known for: brats. But like I said I'm not exactly a neutral source here. Basically all the food in Miller Park is great. I just can't help griping about the little things, like that you can't get a decent pizza crust in Milwaukee. I hope you're not gonna argue with me on that one now... lol.

Ever go to Dentice Brothers on Jackson and Pleasent?

They're closed now but it was a family run joint. Been ther well over 75years.

Those were the best sausages I've ever had.

I think Citizens Bank Park has the best regional food selections of any park I have been to (PNC would be #2 for me). CBP also has a great selection of microbrews if you find the right stands/kiosks/whatever they're called. The rest of their regular ballpark fare (hot dogs/fries/etc...) is pretty standard, nothing really exciting.

I wish there was a US law that forced all ballparks to have predominantly local food and eliminate the Panda Express/Taco Bell/McDonald's stands of the world.....yeah, I'm looking at you Chase Field.

I'm Italian as well and am very picky when it comes to good Italian food. It pains me to say this but the Italian sausage at Fenway is FAR FAR superior to the one at Yankee Stadium. The bread and onions and pepper mixture are much better as well. The great aroma coming from the many competing sausage stands at Fenway is inviting.

Good Italian sausage, warm beer and rooting against the Sox makes for a good time at Fenway.

Until you get a warm beer dumped on your head from the upper deck, that is. Ah, good ol Fenway... lol

Hey, I lived in Connecticut along the Italian shorline. My grandmother is from Sicily. As is the case in almost everything; more does not always make better. Milwaukee has a nice blend of all folks even if they don't mix so well there.

I'm not going to the Bronx for Braunschweiger just as I wouldn't go to Miller for a processed Italian named meat item. There are a lot of very good Italian places with a couple of great ones. They just aren't at the stadium.

Stick with what they do well there: brats, beer, and candy coated nuts. If you want to make some friends; bring a case of cold beer and walk up to some of the groups before the game. Usually most of them are good about trading a sandwich or a turkey leg for a beer or two. A few general rules: 1) The younger they are the more likely they will share 2)The drunker they are the more likey they are to share 3) The bigger the truck, generally the better the food quality will be 4) The closer to the stadium you are, the better the quality of the food 5) Often people will even just let you cook your simple items on thier grill if you want to bring some brats from the shop.

Speaking of brats I was listening to Mike and the Mad Dog on WFAN today and they were RAVING about these Johnsonville brats a Johnsonville rep brought in... I guess I'm ahead of curve as a New Yorker out here in Milwaukee, at least as far as brats are concerned.

U.S. Cellular Field's food has been consistently rated as some of the best in baseball. It offers a great variety of popular baseball and Chicago-style foods. It's even been praised by PETA as having one of the better vegetarian menus in baseball.

I'm not a PETA fan, but that's not some bad praise.

In fact, here's the link (http://www.levyrestaurants.com/Levy/DiningExperiences/SportsAndEntertainment/Group4/U.S.+Cellular+Field.htm) to the company that supplies the food to both the fans in the seats to those in the club level.

Out of the Major League Parks ive been to Miller, Tropicana, Dolphin, Shea, Yankee (I've been to Shea on a number of times but I was really young so I can't comment on that, same with Yankee expect i've been there just a couple times as a kid).

Miller was the best by far, the Brats are to die for. AWESOME stadium too.

I live about 3 hours from the Trop and its eh there. Nothing great...beers of the world is cool though.

Dolphin Stadium is last out of the three...I've had better Cubans.
