I heard that there were rats crawling through Angel Stadium not too long ago. If that's true, then they need to fire the workers, and hire the ones who are dedicated. Or build a new stadium.
Yep it's true!

Every stadium in every country in the world has rats. You may not read about them, but they're there.

By the way, Bud Selig just called and wanted to say "Thank You" for the honorable mention!
Yeah, rats are everywhere. They have a nasty habit of doing those things, such as invading places, but this isn't anything new.

No, but Angels Stadium is officially among the worst, if not the actual bottom (http://www.portfolio.com/culture-lifestyle/culture-inc/sports/2008/05/12/Health-Code-Violations-at-Ballparks).

Some of those violations frankly are idiotic overreactions but "for the public good" means they have to err extremely on the side of caution.

Which of the 732 violations found at Angel Stadium were "idiotic"?

Not the Angels Stadium violations but some of the others mentioned in the other parks like "making a sandwich without gloves" violation- someone messed up but it's not a huge mistake that should be held against the entire stadium and the concession stand...

I worked in a concession stand for a summer at a minor league park and it stayed suprising clean every night. Granted it was the yankee's spring training field so you would expect everything to be great but other than using popcorn in a bag instead of poping our own it was a great place get food.

Anaheim should take a lesson from the old Philidelphia Vet. I was told by the demolition contractors the byproduct of the stadium implosion was the large amount of ferile cats found dead among the debris while removing materials from the site. That said, the Vet probably didn't have much of a problem with rats.

I would but I won't go crazy because someone touched a sandwich for a few seconds without gloves. I certainly wouldn't demand my money back nor run to the health inspector. It's a minor violation to me, it's not something to get worked up about compared to other issues at the parks...

If you guys wanna talk about weird food, this (http://www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Bizarre_Foods) is the place to go.
You'll never complain about Dodger Dogs again! :disbelief:

Every ballpark has a scene like that when they do their postgame shoveling of the aisles.

True.
They use leaf-blowers to just move everything into one huge pile.
It's kind of amazing how much trash is generated at a ballgame.

I love that show!
Off the track travel shows like that are awesome. I'd love to go some of the places that guy has been, but just avoid eating some of the things he's eaten.

Yeah, but that photo is from 7am in the morning. They used to just leave the trash over night. And they wonder why they had rats and roaches. :disbelief:

Someone had to be fired over that but it probably never came about...no excuse for not cleaning the trash after the game.
