you can see by my hitting stats that I make contact with the ball, I have only k'd twice in 12 AB's I always make contact most of the time its nice hits to the shortstop or 2nd basemen that are grounders, or hits into the outfield right to the fielders. in practice I hit shots and hard liners, I have warning track power on a 350' field but come game time its not like that... can you guys help?

To be able to help you, we would need to see a clip of your swings, preferably in a game situation. Make sure you use a DV camera that films at 30 frames per second. Also make sure the camera is on a tripod.

12 at bats is no enough to judge you on.

Exactly. Two good games and he's hitting .300. Then there's the twenty-seven hits and walks in eleven innings. There might be a trend there.

Try moving back or up in the box. That's always helped me find the holes when I've been hitting right at fielders. That way I don't have to tell myself to let the ball come deeper or to hit it more out in front. That's just what I do.
