The number 100 is just that. Nothing magical or mystical about it. Droughts end when they end. 18, 24, 86, 88, 54, 42, 20, nothing about those stretches between titles for the Yankees, Cardinals, Red Sox, White Sox, Rangers, Red Wings or Jayhawks except they took a while between titles.

Well as a fairly biased Cubs fan, of course this is the year. But if, by some horrific chance, they dont win, Im not too concerned with it. Its a fact that we havent won in 100 years, but the way I look at it, they are due. If there really is a curse on the Cubs, Im not scared they will never win. There was a curse on the Red Sox, and they won, so why cant the Cubs win with a curse? Every streak will come to an end...

All those are famous streaks that have come to an end. Eventually, we'll add 100 to the list too. I have confidence in the end, everything will even out.

My question, what happens to the Indians when the Cubs win? They would be 2nd on that list wouldnt they? Last one was '48 I think. They'll have a load to pick up once the Cubs win.
