Jake, every other time I access the 101 forum now, I get a loud bell or tone that will not stop. It keeps ringing or ... Is there something I can do. It is very annoying. VERY!
Anyone else get this?

I think it's from one of the banner ads. Maybe.

Yes, it's from some of the pop up adds at the upper right. It goes away if you click "refresh" and get a different pop up.
VERY irritating! :choke::mad:

We just updated our internet "stuff" and email. I didn't know what happened when I started getting that sound. I clicked on the add just to get it to stop but it kept coming back. Therefore, I thought it might be me. We have a security program, Dan's Guardian" that is very particular and does some weird stuff sometimes. Thanks.

It's from the banner ad. It mostly chirps at me like a cricket and I can't turn the sound off.
It's incredibly annoying.

You can block banner ads with Firefox and the AdBlock Plus add-on.

Naaah! Red Skelton had a punchy-prizefighter spoof that went like that; "but when I answer the door there's nobody there".

Used to watch Red Skelton as a young kid. My parents loved him. Maybe I'll go pick up a dvd of his shows.

But I find this to be the best discussion forum around. At least in the way of interfacing and ease of use.
