The 2613 New York Mets...

Players (Not my lineup)
-C Neil Walker (Yep, I kept him at catcher.)
-1B Keith Hernandez
-2B Dan Murphy (Converted him at age 19, though he's not exactly what I'd call a good-fielding 2B)
-SS Ken Poulsen (Power-hitter who struggles in the field. I have a weak-fielding, good-hitting DP combo. I'm actually hoping to dump Murphy, but Poulsen is my top lefty hitter.)
-3B Evan Longoria
-LF Michel Abreu (had to move him after Keith Hernandez proved what a good fielder he was)
-CF Grady Sizemore
-RF Ryan Church

Bench:
-C Aaron Hathaway (Can't hit, great fielder)
-1B Mike Carp (Righty masher who I almost never use in the field.)
-1B/OF Orestes Kindelan (He's in his rookie year and while he's struggled in the field, he's done extremely well with his bat. I'm even quasi-platooning him with Ryan Church)
-INF Frankie Crosetti (Love the glove, but not much of a hitter)
-OF Chris Lubanski (Pinch hitter/guy who spells Michel Abreu extraordinare)

Rotation:
-LHP Bob Sprout (Flamethrower with some control issues, though not THAT erratic)
-RHP Ed Willett (Throws a submarine knuckleball and throws it pretty well.)
-LHP Jon Niese (About the most conventional guy I have in my starting five.)
-RHP Clint Brown (Submarine screwball)
-RHP John Anderson (Sidearm knuckleballer who I brought up as a ROOGY of all things, but his pitch selection and mechanics allowed me to stretch him so far that he can throw like 120 pitches a game)

Bullpen:
-RHP Colt Griffin (Long man. I deleted his changeup from his repertoire and his control improved enough so that he could work out of the pen, plus he has a starter's endurance.)
-LHP Wilfredo Ledezma (Situational lefty that can also work long relief if Colt Griffin's control goes to hell.)
-RHP Robert Paulk (Great, versatile reliever. I do everything from use him as a ROOGY to a long man, though I generally give him 7th inning duties in close games.)
-LHP Davis Romero (Set-up man when facing lefty-heavy lineups)
-RHP Peter Moylan (Set-up man when facing righty-heavy lineups)
-RHP Eddie Kunz (My lights-out closer)

If that's not 25 guys, it's because the rest are made up bench position players I never use.

Milwaukee Brewers, MLB 08

Lineup:

2B Rickie Weeks
3B Glenn Hansen* (great speed, great power, poor contact, versatile and reasonably good at all IF positions)
1B Prince Fielder
LF Ryan Braun
RF Williams Brisbois* (5'7", great power, mediocre contact, 22 years old)
SS J.J. Hardy
CF Corey Hart
C Mike Rivera

Bench:

3B/OF Joe Dillon
LF Mel Stocker* (used exclusively as pinch runner)
RF Trinidad House* (basically a clone of Williams Brisbois, only shorter and less contact but more power)
CF Chris Fodor* (obtained from Red Sox for Jeff Suppan)
C Simon Nava* (obtained from Dodgers for Jason Kendall)
OF Gabe Gross

Rotation:

SP Ben Sheets
SP Erik Bedard
SP Yovani Gallardo
SP Jeff Ullman* (23 years old, absolutely tore up AAA)
SP Manny Parra

Bullpen:

LR Matt Albers
MR Scott Cassidy
MR Chris Spurling
SU David Riske
SU Derrick Turnbow
CL Chad Cordero

100-62 my first season (lost in NLCS), 99-63 my second season (lost in NLDS), 102-60 my third season (currently in WS). Yovani Gallardo just went 17-2 with a 1.86 ERA... then tore his hamstring in the last week of the season and has missed the entire playoffs, forcing me to put Matt Albers in the rotation.

I traded 2B Dan Murphy and RHP Robert Paulk to the Chicago White Sox for SS Ruben Tejada (moved him to second) and RHP Claudio Vargas. Vargas is more of a long guy and not as versatile as Paulk (not to mention he struggles against left-handed hitters), but Tejada is a marked improvement over Murphy, especially in the field. I converted Vargas to "tag-team" relief with Wilfredo Ledezma and also promoted my number one draft pick, RHP Virgil Trucks, to the Majors to handle some more of Paulk's old duties. I've also been using Orestes Kindelan behind the plate more (catcher is his natural position) and am now platooning him full time with Neil Walker, despite Kindelan's lack of defensive prowess.

LF Moises Alou
RF Ryan Church (traded Milledge for him)
C Ramon Hernandez (traded some minor leaguers. Forget who.

"Health care must be really good if all those guys are still playing ball."

LOL. Unfortunately, the league starts in the year 2000. You can change it to 2001, but that's as far as it goes. I also wanted an all-time draft league, which has worked out really, really well.

BTW, I forgot about my managerial/coaching staff...

Manager: Mickey Cochrane
Bench Coach: Don Baylor
First Base Coach: U.L. Washington
Third Base Coach: Rocco Baldelli
Hitting Coach: Earl Browne
Pitching Coach: Rick Peterson
Bullpen Coach: Zach Duke

Nope, but I have a 62-year-old Mickey Cochrane managing the team.
