I realized that I hadn't adequately taken into account the effects that win shares' fielding-pitching splits had on 1880s players when I first considered Richardson's case. After having reconsidered it, I decided Richardson is worthy of the BBFHOF.

Long is on my queue, and, as he received one vote last month, I'm helping him off the limited selection list.

That leaves Singleton as my third addition this month. There are some players with low vote totals whom I haven't taken a close look at yet; if I decide that they are worthy, I'll add them to future ballots.

I have added Bonds, Burns, and Trouppe to my ballot since three weeks ago, and adding none of the whiz shortstops (Bancroft, Maranville, Concepcion). Frankly, that's a spur of the moment decision to get a ballot in and make it a 25 rather than a 22.

With the Suburbs of Cooperstown draft, and improving my baseball database (data, not functionality), and assessing some 1860s batting records, I have spent my baseball time without even keeping up on the progress of this election.
