Hey guys, I am hopefully going into my first year on varsity as a junior. Previously on JV I only played in the infield, primarily SS but at times, especially last year at 3B. I currently have this glove http://www.hitrunscore.com/a2000-1786-tb-wilson-baseball-gloves.html. I used to only play in the OF before HS but my coach made me transition. On varsity I will probably see more playing time in the OF so I was thinking what glove should I get. Would be nice if within same price range as the 1786 but wouldn't mind anything higher. I have been thinking about these:

First one is a bit pricey, but seems nice. Exactly what differences would I see between the two?

Which ever one you get make sure you can get it game ready in time.

The Pro Preferred is a pro quality glove with much stiffer leather. The Gold Glove is a very nice glove, the leather is much softer. It will break into game shape much quicker and be useable this season. Buy both, use the GG right now in practice to get it game ready. Start breaking in the Pro Preferred and it may be ready for summer ball. Good luck!
