Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Mike Piazza, Kenny Lofton - Are there anymore big name players who played in 2007, who are free agents and not yet signed for 2008? Help me out guys and gals!

Sammy Sosa's probably the biggest.

some team should sign Bonds, Clemens and Sosa...that would be sweet. Maybe thats how the Cubs can break the curse, by signing the curse bringers!!!

Imagine the media frenzy on opening day! There would be more journalists at the game than spectators!

Actually, I think a team loaded with known, or let's say. heavily suspected, juicers would draw great on the road. At least the first time around the league. Add Palmiro and Pudge too. I want the outside consesion for inflatable syringes.

Lofton will get a job as a backup and then be moved to starter around the All-Star break :)

Can anyone think of any team that would pay the $$$ that Bonds will demand given everything, including the possibility of a prison sentence?
Other than the Oakland Raiders [Stop that!--Ed.]?

The fans would have to get very pricy tickets from scalpers, since the media would be spilled over in the fans' seats. They would be all over the field, leaving very little space for long-time fans of the game.
I'd take a chance on Kenny Lofton, since he still knows how to hit. I think he'd be more popular in Cleveland, since he's a reminder of the times when Manny, Alomar, Jr and Thome were there.

Though I doubt even "Mr. Hanky" would be that stupid. For you know Barry's ego will not allow him to take a major pay-cut.

Big names. Little to offer. With some like Bonds and Sosa suspected of taking illegal substancs, who'll sign them?
