That is definitely true.
However, this got me thinking. How did he get most of them? eBay? If so then they COULD be forged. Just a thought.

I have 68 baseballs, 24 bats, 130 cards, 7 books, 12 magazines and one cola bottle that are autographed, and 10 more baseballs, 4 bats, 5000 cards, a lot of books and magazines that are not signed, and I thought I was an avid collecter. Yeesh, this guy must be a biilionaire man!

It would be sad for the man if some were forged, because then his collection could be worthless if they are deemed valuable, sentimentaly or money wise.
I had a Sandberg card in 88, as well as a Mattingly card from 92, who are my heroes. They were forged. I was only young at the time when I realised- 1996. So what I did wasI went to conventions, ball games and even when Sandberg was inducted into the hall, befor I got their true signitures. So I would sympothise with the guy if it came out like this
