It appears that 2007 Topps, Topps Opening Day and Bowman used the same fascimile signatures between the sets for each player. Am I correct to assume this? If so I noticed a couple of discrepencies and I wondered if anyone else noticed them.

2007 Topps Updates #UH161 Brandon Wood. The signature is not his. It appears to be that of Jason Wood #UH109.

2007 Topps #98 Marcus Giles. The signature does not appear to be his. His Opening Day card #101 and Bowman #88 sigs match and they clearly read his name. The Topps sig is definitely not a match to the other two and doesn't even closely resemble his name. Possible Error? Whose sig is it?

2007 Bowman #103 Richie Sexson. His signature does not appear to be his. IF you compare to his Topps #212 they are not a match and his Topps sig doesn't even closely resemble his name. Possible error? Whose sig is it?

I know they are a lot of autograph collectors here so i thought someone might know.

Sorry i do not have a scanner to show you guys the difference.

For the most part, Topps isn't correcting the facsimilie signature errors. Here's a thread with further details on facsimilie signature problems...

I have also notice some they didn't even have the signature. I have a Paul Lo Duca for example with no signature its worth 5 bucks. Without the signature its less than a dollar I can't remeber exactly how much.

I've noticed this too. 2007 Topps '52 Ryan Braun RC (Brewers) and Ryan Z. Braun RC (Royals) have the same signature. Someone at Topps is getting paid good money and making a lot of sloppy mistakes.

Found one! The signature on Marcus Giles is that of Kendry Morales #151.

Jared Burton #644 signature also does not resemble his and does not match the signature on his Bowman Card.
