Have you ordered Harvey's 08' Address List yet? [Archive]

Just curious how many of us have ordered Harvey's new and improved 2008 Baseball Address List. For those of you that have no idea what I am talking about or want more info; go here: http://www.sportsaddresslists.com/baseball.html

I highly suggest that everyone buys one.

I am still unsure.I would probably only use it during the off-season anyways. Are they dependable or are there a lot of RTS?

For me personally: I have yet to get one RTS. I think it's 110% better than Smalling's book. I highly recommend this book!

Already ordered HM'S 08 Book. Hands down the single most important tool needed to collect ttm autographs.

I have the Harvey's 2007 book....probably use that next year and order a new book in 2009, unless I start getting a lot of RTS.

I've used Harvey's book all year, and have gotten maybe a half dozen RTS, one of which Harvey emailed me a new address for (I didn't bother asking about the others).

I never knew such a list ever existed. Thanks to Duckydps for turning me on to such a thing, I have ordered the address list for the first time ever. I have never done any TTM EVER! I'm anxious about getting started. Wish me luck.

Let me reiterate folks. This poll is mainly intended for those of us who do ttm autograph requests. If you do not do ttm and or have no clue what ttm is... then please do not vote.

I use Smalling's list. I also research a lot of my own addresses.

Works just fine for me. I don't know why it's a waste of time and money consider Smalling's baseball list costs less than Harvey's. Harvey = 33 dollars, Smalling updated list (which is what I use) = 22 dollars.

I save 11 bucks, and I get all the addresses I need. Can't go wrong there. I refuse to buy Harvey's list.

What is the difference between 07 and 08. can I wait till 09?

I enjoy Harvey's book and use it often...so I would have voted yes but not sure if I need to purchase it as I have the 07 book.....

The last book I bought from Smalling (the one with Eckstein on the front cover) was a total waste of my $. I had so many RTS that it wasn't even funny. Also some the address' that he had were incomplete (didn't have the street number, etc, etc).

That's why I don't bother with the books. They are crap, I will admit. By the time you get them so many of the addresses are outdated.

That's why I use the updated lists, as I stated before.

Like I stated above... since I bought Harvey's book in the beginning of this year I have yet to get one RTS. Just a matter of opinion I suppose.
