i have heard that the rawlings liquidmetal bat has been known for breaking. is this true and will it perform at a varsity highschool level. should i buy or not????

Don't know about the breaking... all I know is that I hate the bat. I'll only use exo's and stealths (older ones, I don't like the new ones).

I'm just not buying into the new "liquid" or "plasma" bats...

Stiff flex is a one piece bat. Regular flex I believe is a two piece bat.

Really just try out the bats from your team-mates and use whatever is most comfortable. At that price and w/ that technology they are all pretty much the same.

LiquidMetals have a load of pop, BUT...i have never seen a bat that dents and dies so easily.

Personally, i would take a LS Exo or a Demarini Vexxum or Voodoo over the eastons.

When our team was 14U three players broke their Liquid Metals. I've know a couple of players on other teams who also broke their LM's. Based on personal observation and a dad of a kid who had one break, it's a bat I advise not to purchase.
