Well I was looking at some hitting aids, and I found one that caught my eye it is
http://www.baseballjunk.com/perfectstride.htm
supposedly it helps to keep the hips from opening prematurely and keeping the toe close which in turn adds power, it seems like it would work but is there any way you could make one of these? im saving for a glove so I dont wanna waste money, also I was gonna buy a 20oz bat donut, and I already have a hit-a-way thing, So with all these things could my swing greatly improve?

no? lol you had to make it difficult and couldnt just say no, well then how would I keep my front foot from spinning out cuz when I swing its either pointing at the pitcher and my toes are up in the air or towards shortstop and up in the air.

Serious time:
Listen... pivoting the back foot is not good. It is bad. That product promotes pivoting. If you want to fix this, go stand up next to a wall. This should help. Your probably just putting to much effort into your hips so your over rotating. The product stinks! Don't waste your money. The guy in the demo obviously doesn't know how to swing a bat... it doesn't take an expert to realize that! I think all of the hitting gurus here would agree that that product is bad and that the guy swinging doesn't know what he is doing!

lol your saying my right foot since im a right handed hitter, and is also my back foot shouldnt rotate? then why do all the pro's do it, I think you mean my front foot shouldnt rotate and thanks I wont waste the money.

You back foot should not pivot... are you talking about spinning with your front foot or your back foot?
This is a great article imo from a great analysis...thanks to Chris O'leary! (GO CARDINALS!!!!)

Ok this question is not intended for go cardinals to answer...
is that product worth the money? what I see is that his swing does look like major leaguers maybe not the upperbody but his lower body looks like theirs... I dont see why it would be bad or not work, and that is my problem my front toe swings open and doesnt stay closed so maybe it would work for me idk, and that in turn creates power I know because one of you guys told me that before.

IMO, I would not purchase the product to address the problem you describe. Your $20 would be better spent purchasing some video of the best hitters hitting and watching it until you have start to dream about the swings in your sleep.

I know you don't want me to answer, but everyone here will say the same thing!
Lower body is nothing like the pros! Upper body does not look like the pros. He is spinning w/ all of his weight on his back foot. That is not good.
Fix the problem of your front foot by standing up against a wall...

ok well yea I didnt think about him not transferring the weight. Anyway stand next to a wall wouldnt keep it close it would just keep it straight, or stand against the wall how? how do you mean? I want to hit hard liners and homeruns, not grounders... ok so does anyone wanna recommend a good hitting DVD, and even perhaps a good pitching dvd to watch that shows good mechanics I could copy that will increase my velocity? also im gonna buy a 20oz batting donut to take cuts with, good idea?

For pitching some materials I recommend are:
Thrive On Throwing (Long Toss) - Alan Jaeger
National Pitching Association (DVD's and Books) - Tom House
Pitchers Boot Camp (DVD's) - Ron Wolforth
Pitching Professor (DVD's and Book) - John Bagonzi
I am not even going to touch the hitting. I don't want to start any more arguments on hitting materials. I have found what works for my players and I stick to it. I am sure others will give you recommendations.

the best hitting AIDS in my opinion are PICKLE BALLS.wiffle balls that really can be thrown fast..Gets you cuts anywhere and everywhere,,no batting cage needed..and of course the best modern day aid would be the video recorder..everything else you could probably do without
