Drill's suggestion with Google Tool Bar works. I clicked Add More Buttons and searched for Spell Check - add the button and presto. Type your text and click spell check.

Thank goodness. As an English major, mindless spelling errors drives me insane.

A new upgrade on safari is spell check. Now anytime I spell anything wrong, it is just like word. There is a red line under it. Its very nice. I don't know if it's a mac thing or not. But, anyone who has a mac, its just a software update.
