i dont know if this should go in this section sorry if not, you could move it, So here it is I am looking for a cheap video camera that will get the job done to tape my batting mechanics and pitching mechanics it only has to run for like 5 minutes at a time where could I buy one of these? keep in mind im on a very strict budget.

lol nope cant afford that. never will be able to either not in highschool anyway. Im talkin about like a little handheld one lol. that I could just put on the table and start throwing or hitting.

I have a little Olympus FE-110 that I like. It's actually a digital camera that has a video mode. It records video to QuickTime format.

Maybe $150 to $200.

Slugger's link looks perfect to me, but if you go the camera route, look for a small pocket camera that takes video at 30 frames per second, preferably 640x480 but 320x240 would do and would be cheaper. Should be able to find something for under $200. Maybe well under. Being able to just throw the files on your computer easily is big, imo. If you buy new, buy from a reputable outlet with a return policy. Stay away from the "low price" online camera stores you've never heard of. You might find something used really cheap on ebay but, of course, be careful.

yea if anything im gonna get the one that was on sluggers link, there out of stock currently and my walmart doesnt carry them so ill have to wait awhile.

You might check out www.theflip.com good price. I heard they were nice. 30 min record time $119. 640x480 at 30 frames per second.

check out a canon s3 it is a 6 mp camera and runs 60 frames..great slow mo ..
and since theres an s5 already you can buy this one cheap..60 frames viewed in slo mo is very nice
