Fixing er manipulating the top 150

So here's my proposition. Maybe it will be fun.

Take the top 150 from our collaborative ranking and manipulate the rankings.

Here's my rules.

1) Members may post once per day
2) Members must pick 3 players, at least 2 must be in the top 150 from our collaborative rankings, and one can be someone out of the top 150.
3) Rotate the 3 players into each others spots in the rankings. Each of the 3 players must be moved into a spot occupied by one of the other of their 3 picks.

I see this as a kind of slow evolution to the rankings.

Please pick and move three players that produce the best overall improvement in the top 150 in your view, even if one of the players is moved to a less desireable position.

so I moved Rickey henderson from 39 to 36 moving Joe Jackson to from 36 to 72 and Jackie Robinson from 72 to 36.

You must make a 3 player move like this, and one of your three players can be someone from off the list (and moving someone else on to the list).

I recommend moving Waddell up and Hoffmann off and maybe someone else from off the list on to the list in Hoffman's place.

Lastly, your move can not involve ALL THREE players moved by someone else. You can move up to 2 players from someone elses move and a third player who was not involved in that specific move.

After the player has been moved again, he becomes eligible to move in any combination.

McCovey's here twice (102, 150). I predict that if this actually takes off, mistakes like this will become rampant and rules will not be followed (accidentally). Then people won't notice for several posts, and they'll be manipulating a list that was changed "illegally."

You should also keep the players who were not on the original list somewhere in the post, as well as maybe changing the color or something of a player who was added who wasn't originally on the list. That way, if somebody wants to put their choice back, they won't peruse the list and without noticing their selection was moved.
