it was a totally lame excuse for a day game as well....started at 4:00PM in a DOME. lame, Lame, LAME!
A more real answer is 1984 Game 5. I don't remember a day game in 83 (but I was only 10 and didn't care for the phillies or orioles), but I remember watching day games in 82, 81, 80 and 79. That's about where my memory stops.

At least you saw a daytime WS daygame, ever since I can remember was always prime time.
