Hey guys I recently lost my connection I had with picking up pro 1xx Louisville Slugger bats. I really like the C271 34 inch ash which I recently switched to since I felt better than the M9 Maple. I had 3 left and recently cracked one in about less than 3 games. The second one I had left broke on about 5 pitches hitting right on the sweet spot and last one on one pitch! So I think I am pretty much through with this model.
So I am pretty much looking to a similar model and quality of the C271 1xx at hopefully at the same price I use to get them from my supplier.
I guess the only alternative I would have was maybe getting a sluggerpro.com to sell me the model.

There are others as well, we (aj9020) justdon't use the board as advertising for our products, just to give insight and knowledge.
Whether it be right, wrong or indifferent. I would rather use the PM feature to discuss our company as I don't think it is right to direct people to us via this forum.

I LOVE the C271 Maple LS bats, but have never even tried the Ash model of the 271. Why do you prefer the ash to maple? What do you mean by "felt better"? Better to swing (lighter?) or better hitting feel?

For me the LS Ash bats just have a better "hitting feel" when I make good contact. The harder maple seems to transfer more vibration up the handle in comparison. Its not like it stings or anything adverse, but it is just not as aesthetically pleasing to me.

When I hit the ball solid on the sweet spot, it feels plenty nice to me :)

BMH, I got a question:
Does LS currently make a bat that is similar or exactly like the C263 that Tony Gwynn swung? I know there is the Pro Stock Lite series (with a bat in that series that is labeled "Gwynn"). Please let me know if that's what the C263 has become. You can PM me if you think people might think that the board is being flooded with LS stuff.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!
