is there a chart/table somewhere that shows the likely (probability) outcomes of a sac bunt (ball put in play)? And if sac bunts are typically more successful with a runner on first as opposed to runners on first and second, and are pitchers typically more successful at bunting than position players are?
ie:
Case Scenario: Runner on first. Sac bunt attempt. Pitcher bunting.
60% Runner moves to second, batter out.
30% Runner forced out at second.
5% Double play
3% Hitter reaches safely on single, runner advances to second.
1% Error
1% etc, etc, etc...
