Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to look through these five boxscores and name the player and the record that he set in each of these games. A different record was set in each game. They are somewhat interesting records, and somewhat obscure, but not TOO obscure. A typical correct answer is something like "Pete Rose - most hits in a game (6) without scoring a run", or "Mark Prior - most hits allowed (16) by a winning pitcher".
NOTE: These may or may not be all-time records because I am ONLY considering games from 1957-2007. Also, other players may have tied some or all of these records.

2. The only thing I see here is that Sergio Mitre pitched 0 innings, gave up 0 hits, 2 walks and 3 runs. Don't think that would be a record, though.

Runs allowed > Hits allowed + Walks allowed + Innings pitched?
Heheh. No, it's much simpler than that. Look a little bit to the right.

Most pitches thrown without throwing a strike.
Correct! 12 pitches, 0 strikes. Methinks that Sergio Mitre may have been a little hungover or something. Two games later he threw 4 pitches, all strikes.

I saw that, but thought that probably wasn't it, because pitch counts are only very recently tracked, and I figured that that had been done before.
