IYHO, how many MVPs do you think A-Rod SHOULD have at this point in his career?
I'm guessing everyone is going to say '96, but I'm curious as to how many think he he was robbed of.

I think the MVP should always go to the best player in the league regardless of his team. The best player contributes the most to winning and that is what it is all about, not the other 24 guys. So, here are the players I think were the most valuable to their team since A-Rod's first full season.
1996: Alex Rodriguez
1997: Ken Griffey, Jr.
1998: Albert Belle
1999: Pedro Martinez
2000: Pedro Martinez
2001: Alex Rodriguez
2002: Alex Rodriguez
2003: Alex Rodriguez
2004: Miguel Tejada
2005: Alex Rodriguez
2006: Johan Santana
2007: Alex Rodriguez

'96 yes.
In '00 he was not really robbed as he lost it because he got injured and missed games and slumped at the end of the season. He might have deserved it but the MVP wasn't a "wrong" choice".
'01 I could have gone for him, but Giambi and Boone were my top choices. A-Rod should not really be docked for his team's position. Their offense was great (890 runs) and their pitching was horrible (78 ERA+). So in retrospect, he should have won in '01 for sure.
In '02, the Rangers actually scored way more than they should have based on their hitting. Yea, I think he should have won in '02 as well, but it was not as good a season as '01.
