Gabe Kapler is posting blog entries on the Globe, giving his take on Boston's postseason. It's pretty decent.

Kapler's Corner (http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/kaplers_corner/)

One line that just made me laugh: "When Kevin Youkilis made contact with that John Lackey fastball in the first inning, I bet he immediately felt an intense euphoria. The feeling is kind of like throwing up after feeling nauseous for a while."

:laugh That is one strange analogy!

Should be interesting to read as we get deeper into the playoffs. He almost sounds like a fan instead of the player. :) I wish we have room for him next year, but who knows what will happen in the offseason.

I wish we have room for him next year, but who knows what will happen in the offseason.Kapler is a good guy, and I wish him the best in his comeback attempt. However, he hasn't had an Adjusted OPS+ over 100 (the league average) since 2001. If it is with the Red Sox, it would be almost purely for his glove.
