If there's anything about the 2007 postseason that you good folks wish to discuss, please post it here. Feel free to discuss matchups, the health of the roster, who's been chosen, what you expect and how exciting you feel that the playoffs will be for the Rockies. :)

I've been living in Denver for several years and have had an opportunity to experience firsthand this miraculous turnaround. This is a really amazing team. Wow. :applaud:

Nice win today by the Rockies. Francis looked good statwise, but I didn't get to see him actually pitch. The bullpen looks like a big strength for this team, which could win many games for them. The Rockies are my NL team this year :P

Matt Holliday may be the team's star and Todd Helton the face of the team but, one area I noticed is that Yorvit Torrealba is really on his game as far as calling pitches. Catchers primary job is calling the game and blocking pitches. Secondary is hitting, thowing out runners, and even plate blocking. He did a great job today.

Your guys have the magic. Enjoy it. But there's still a LOT of baseball yet to be played.

Man, I totally love this team. They were fun to watch in Spring Training- you could certainly sense the chemistry then. I hope they can go all the way even though if that means larger crowds at ST in 2008. Go Rocks!

I'm very surprised at the pitching staff so far. I knew these guys were good but they really raised their game up for the playoffs. I hope the Rox go a long way, they deserve it.

Amen brotha, and I hear they might get Cook and Hirsh back! (that is if the Rocks can advance!)

I truly believe that the Rockies are the stronger team going into this against the D Backs.

Who are these guys?

Tell you what, no one wants to face them right now.

Looks like they will dismantle the D'backs in short order.

Great interview with Todd Helton describing the clubhouse atmosphere. Maybe the key to winning is to just have fun, it's only a game. :gt

Go Rockies !!!! I am tired of hearing how great the AL is. After last season, when a medoicre Cardinals team dismantled the Tigers, I thought all of the "American League is so superior" stuff would stop.
Let's see : D backs in 2001, Marlins in 2003, I see Rockies in 2007.
The young expansion teams are now proudly carrying the NL Banner.
From John McGraw's Giants to Tony LaRussa's Cardinals.
Good luck Rockies !

Well the Rockies are within 3 outs again.

Been a very nerve wrecking 11 inning game so far. Rockies pitchers have only had 2 clean innings.

Man, what a series... Up 2-0 going back to Coors? Gotta love their chances!

Man O Man, this is going to be one long ass wait.

Then this off day for the Indians and the BoSox sucks big time.

Why does Bud have to mess with the tradition of the game? It pisses off us old farts.

Well at least we know that none the WS games can end in a tie...:laugh

The Rockies' run has really been amazing. And to think that if Trevor Hoffman had gotten that last strike against the Brewers in the second to last day of the season, we wouldn't even be talking about this. It would have just been, nice try Rockies. Something to build on for next year!

Nothing thrills me like a spammer joining the board pluggin his ticket link.

Real heart warming to say the least. Especially when they go to the Red Sox section to plug their link and say this.

I have a feeling he might not even had been needed. I don't see this Series going past 4 games. With such a long layoff, I have a feeling the Rockies forgot how to play baseball!

I doubt Beckett's ball doesn't move anything like that in Coors field however. He will get shelled in Denver.

that is absurd...just flat out silly. At this rate, Beckett might not have to pitch again

Ultimately, the Colorado Rockies haven't showed up yet. I don't see why Josh Fogg was left in the game until it was too late; game over in the 3rd inning. What was Clint Hurdle thinking?

Great year guys. The Rockies are a great team, and they won't be going anywhere but up in the future. With all the young guys on that roster, this team could be a pretty good one for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys win it all before too long. Good luck in 2008.

I tip my hat to the Rockies for a terrific year, and it was great to play you in the World Series. I think it's too bad it's over so quickly, I really thought going in it was going to be a close one, going at least 6 games. You guys have a great roster of young players and I'm going to be keeping my eye on the team next year. I've always been a big Helton fan now I can add several more to that list.

Congratulations to the NL champs and good luck next year!
