Yea I'm rooting for the Rockies. They had such a great run at the end of the season, it was hard not to be behind them.

Fogg is usually pretty reliable the first one/two times through the order. If he can shut things down for 5 innings, that would give the Rockies a huge boost.

This Rockies run has made me glad that I purchased the MLB Extra Innings package. I watched most of their games this season from here in Fort Worth, and this September has been fantastic.

Josh Fogg can be really good or really bad. I hope he's really good tonight...

Congratulations, Rockies fans. It would be hard to come up with a more thrilling end to the regular season. All those consecutive wins, and then the tiebreaker with the Padres.

That tiebreaker was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen.

Before the game, I predicted that the stars would choke and the role players would play the deciding factors. In other words: It would be a battle of Manager's moves. I felt San Diego's Bud Black out-managed Colorado's Clint Hurdle.

Those umpires were pretty bad last night. I thought the home plate umpire was biased toward the Padre pitchers but, that final run was a bad call in the Rockie's favor. Also, disallowing Atkins' home run changed the game.

Also, I believe Colorado will win the NL pennant. They have a shortened rotation, a good bench, a good pen, excellent defense, and a non-stop offense. I hope they got those bugs out last night because they got off their game plan, each batter trying to be the hero, until the final inning.

As I predict in my blog (http://writerhoward.com) today, the Rockies will rock the Diamondbacks out of the playoffs.
