...the Detroit Tigers vs. the New York Mets isn't gonig to happen and now it looks like the NYM may not even make the playoffs either. I wonder if you combined the Tigers & the Mets bullpens if you could come up with something decent because it seems to me that that is where both teams lost it this year. Aaaaaggghhh!

The Metropolitans vs the Angels or Cleveland would be a good series in my opinion also.

I will settle for the Tribe vs the Phils, if only to see Cholly appear on Late Night or Conan (with his translator, of course). You wouldn't wanna miss that.
Tribe vs anyone is always a good thing, and I suppose facing the Cubs would at least draw some national attention to the Series.

Phillies vs. Yankees
Some high scoring action.

I don't know about that one. I think the best one would be Yankees vs cubs.

Either way, ESPN will love the rating that would get. Red Sox-Yankees/Cubs-Phillies LCS is probably as good as you can do in terms of teams with loyal followings. I'm stoked to see how all of this pans out.

At the beginnibg of the season I was hoping for the San Fransisco Giants against the Texas Rangers but by mid-season I knew that wasn't going to happen. Now I'll settle for a subway series between the Yankees and the Mets but the Mets arn't looking too good either.

Red Sox-Cubs or Red Sox-Phillies would be fun. But I'm thinking it'll be Angels-Phillies.

I would like Yanks and Arizona. That should cool another 2001 playoff fight, but the teams are totally different so it would be interesting.
