Cubs Win the NL Central

For the first time since 2003, the Chicago Cubs just won tonight the NL Central Division, after beating the Reds 6-0, and MIT, after the Padres beat the Brewers 6-3, the celebration began both in the visiting clubhouse and in the city of Chicago, the Cubs are back in the playoffs, one year after finishing last in the division, and the Soriano signing, the great Septembre from Zambrano and Lilly, and the hiring of Sweet Lou as the manager, and of course, the choke job by the Brew Crew, gave the Cubs the unthinkable, so Congratulations to all Cubbie fans, and lets see if they can win the pennant this year, we hope.

1st time since 1938 that they won the division (or playoffs) two times within 5 seasons.

i' m certainly hoping. and singing the steve goodman song that he penned in 1984.
