It's getting *VERY* interesting out there. The Mets have led the NL East since May. Unlike the AL East, there aren't any predictable teams, and everyone's in the mix. Like the 1963 movie, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057193/), everyone's going bonkers trying for the same jackpot prize.
Anyway, who wins this wild goose chase. Public poll, so your identity will be revealed (and hopefully, discussed). :D

I'm REALLY pulling for the Rockies to make it in one way or another.

Why the Rockies?
Side B of this thread is, who wins the NL East, Central and West Divisions?

Because I just think it would be really cool to see the Rockies in the playoffs.
As far as the other Divisions go....
NL East - Phillies
NL Central - Cubs
NL West - D'backs
The Cubs haven't mathematically won it, but its over in that division in all reality. The D'Backs winning the west with the Rockies getting the WC probably doesn't make sense as the Rockies would have to win a few games in this series to get in, so it may be more likely for it to be Rockies for NL West and D'backs for NL wildcard. As for the NL East, its hard to go against the Phillies right now.

I hope Arizona gets knocked out. They are the weakest team for their record.
The Rockies have actually had to overcome their road woes. Unlike football and basketball, I think that when your home park effects are so different from the road, it makes it almost impossible to win 50% on the road.
I am a Rockies fan. They may have to win 15 straight to make the playoffs (including a 1 game playoff at the end). I think that they have a very good combination of talent.

Here's how I think it'll shake down:
The Mets are choking. Bad. The Phils will win the NL East, thus taking them out of the Wild Card race. The Mets won't be able to recover, so they'll be out. The Brewers will, unfortunately, fall to the Cubs in the Central (I say unfortunately because I like the Brewers), and they're too far out to take the WC. The Rockies are about to fall two games back in the WC, and three back in the division, which, with two days left in the season, isn't a good situation at all. So that leaves Arizona and San Diego, and you can take your pick of those two. I like Arizona to win the West, because they're in the lead right now, so everybody else has to catch them. San Diego will then take the Wild Card.

The Padres will take WC.
