I would bet a weeks pay that Bradley ends up suing Black.
Here's why
Bradley is somewhat less then conventional.
Bradley has enormous resources and there are plenty of attys willing to take a contingency case that could be worth millions.
ACL at Milts age is a career question and wow it is on videotape for all to see how he got hurt.
We'll see

Might be considered worker's compensation since it was on the job which under the laws of the California may or may not preclude him from suing.

Who would rule in Bradley's favor... if you charge at an official, and they didn't, things happen. Why wouldn't Black restrain him? If he shoves down the ump he'll get 20 games or something, into next year, he didn't think he would tear his knee. That's unusual and infrequent, I've never heard of an athlete's ACL torn in a fray. He's pretty much out of luck.

A football player, Orlando Brown, got blinded by an official's flag, shoved back, and the league still didn't like that. Now he really had a beef.

Bradley was the physical aggressor. Some fell sorry for him but this behavior is not accepted in American society at large.

Baseball suspends an ump for a week or more for cussing but gives much lesser penalties to those who:
-physically intimidates bordering on assault another person
-throws a potentially deadly object at another person
-50-year-old men throwing childish hissy fits

All this might be acceptable in the trailor park.

Baseball is just a step below the NHL in allowing ridiculous behavior. It's embarrassing really. Even the NFL steps harder on their slew of criminals.
