Does anyone know anything about the New York Black Yankees playing in Albany New York? I have looked them up and they say that they settled in Albany but I can't find anything about them playing in Albany. I know they did alot of barnstorming and they finished up in RedWing Stadium in Rochester NY. But did they ever play home games in Albany NY? I know Albany had the Negro Giants that later changer to the Albany Black sox. But I never knew if the Black Yankees played here. Being from Albany I would like to know this part of my city's rich baseball history.

The NY Black Yankees hosted (neutral site) Negro National League game against the Newark Eagles on 5/22/1948 at Hawkins Stadium in Albany. The Yankees also hosted minor league teams there from 1928-60.
