I've always thought he would be a good manager. Would he be berraed into the managing position?

Well, to paraphrase Yogi...you ain't berraed till you're over! :)

I'm sure Posada would make a good manager, in due time. I'll take about three more years of his bat, his presence, and his leadership first!!

He'll have to improve his English (or manage the Mets). I have a hard time understanding him during interviews.

??

So long as his teammates (or players if he's manager) understand him, as I'm sure they do (he wouldn't be such a clubhouse leader otherwise), then what does it matter?

I'm more concerned with how these guys play, and play together, rather than how they speak.

One man's "Broken English" is another man's, gee, I dunno..."Yogi-isms"?

Nice synopsis on Wikipedia, re Luke Easter. I'm a little smarter today, thanks.

Posada speaks english very, very well. he barely has an accent. you guys are some serious gringo's. And yes, I believe he will make a very good manager if thats the path he chooses after his playing career is over

I was just messing around. He's not hard to understand, although for whatever reason, my wife thinks so.

If Ozzie Guillen can become a manager, then anybody can. Posada's English is ten times better than Ozzie's by the way.

I think Posada would be a great manager. Why don't we see player/managers anymore?
