The NY Times has a nice human interest story today on A-ROD and his half-brother, Victor, who is quite accomplished in his own right.

It shows that A-Rod isn't just controversy in a human body. Personally i believe the NY fans give him too much bs when he's struggling but im not saying they can't though....
it shows he has feelings like the rest of us

Man, I can just see the Yanks, or whatever team ARod ends up with, totally freaking about him going to Afghanistan...but, it would be a wonderful thing for him to do.
Looks like Victor Sr. was about 46 when ARod was born...mine was even older when I was born, 49. Wonder if his Dad could play catch with him...mine would throw the ball 2-3 times, grab his shoulder and grimace, and go back into the house for a beer.
My pitchback net became my catch buddy!
