Am I the only one that has noticed how simply awful the Tigers run production per hit has been. Here is the break down of the last 8 losses.

R/H
3/16
2/5
1/9
8/11
3/9
2/11
1/6
2/5

For a total of 22 runs and 72 hits. An average of .31 runs per hit, not good.

My problem is the way Leyland has been handling the line up since Sheffield has went down. Why insert all these unproven guys into the 3 hole? Why not move Guillen up to the 3 hole, and group some of those non productive (of late) Tigers, Casey and Pudge come to mind to the bottom of the order?

Leyland continues to choke in the 2nd half; Timo Perez is the feature hitter, batting in the 3 spot.

What does Leyland have against Raburn? I mean dude went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and scored 2 R.....and he has yet to get another AB since? (BTW this was the box score from the sunday 16-0 Yankees game)
