What is your take. I mean come on Fenway sels out almost ever nite 80bout of the 82 games or w.e but seats only 37000 there are hundreds of ppl waiting in line at the box office for tickets not being used i was there 1 month ago and the way the sox are going now i mean there are gunna be alot of angry fans if Boston soon doesnt do anything about their seating capacity. That is a pretty good argument for a new ballpark too

Maybe some of most of those people standing in line are picking up tickets at will call?

Red Sox fans aren't angry at all. Ownership is doing what they can to expand Fenway without destroying it. If you plan far ahead and/or have a lot of cash, it's not that difficult to get tickets. And what are Sox fans who are angry going to do, boycott Fenway games? Then that would eliminate the capacity problem.

Expanding it would be a good idea. I think it would be a bad idea to knck it down though

Well, I go to 15-18 games a season, so it's not impossible to get tickets. It's annoying not being able to hit up every game you'd like to, but it's worth it once you get inside. I'd rather go a dozen-2 dozen a year at Fenway than 40 pretty much anywhere else right now.

Really depends on whether you can stand for 3 hours. I'll rephrase: I'd rather stand behind the plate at Fenway than sit virtually anywhere in most HOK parks.

Most redsox fans would rather see Fenway stay and not get tickets then to build a new park the thing is like a Holy ground and by the way Fenway has sold out like around 200 consecutive games.

Even though I am a Cubs Fan, the Red Sox are my AL Team and I am glad to see that Fenway is still open and I hope it continues to be that way.

Yeah, that would be like knocking down Yankee Stadium. Can you imagine?

Difference is, Fenway has never looked better, while Yankee Stadium has never looked worse. Not only were the classic elements gutted, but now the plastic '70s junk is rotting. Plus, NYC has never had any desire to preserve old buildings, while Boston holds on nearly to a fault. Just look at the South End, it's practically creepy how little has changed.
