Box Break Thread

I haven't seen anything like this on BBF so I figured, hey what the heck why not start one. I don't know how much interset it'll brong but I'll try it. I usually don't buy hobby boxes more so blaster boxes. So yesterday I purchased a 2007 Allen & Ginter box from a local target for $19.95-talk about great value. The box included 7 packs of 5 regular cards with 1 mini card a pack. It doesn't say anywhere that ther's one relic or autograph a box, but from what I've read, there seems to be. In the box i recieved minis of Morgan Ensberg, Hank Blalock, Johan Santana, Mohandas Gandhi, Any Pettite, Egypt Flag(no #), Eric Byrnes(black parrallel and no #), and a Dontrelle Willis(no back). I also recieved a beautiful Miguel Tejada Jeresey card, a huge pull for me considering he is my favorite player, a very unique card. It's a mini card with a jersey in a plexi-glass type case. I also got an A-Rod road to 500 #263. I also recevied 3 Dick Perez Potratis of Prince Fielder, Jim Edmonds, and Mark Teahen. I pulled 6 RCs, iincluding Tim Lincecum. I also recieved no dups in my box. All in all a must buy product that has great cards for TTM.

ooooh, now I have to get a box from target....but wont be able to until I see how my card show goes on friday and when I see how much $$ I have left

Bought an A & G blaster box from Target last night, and it turned out to be pretty decent. No relic or autographed cards, but 3 of the 8 minis had black A & G logos on the back (Stephen Drew, Lance Berkman, and Chris Duffy). Also 1 mini flag (Switzerland). Base cards included Troy Tulowitzki, Kei Igawa, Akinori Iwamura, Glen Perkins, Tyler Clippard RC's.

I didnt buy a allen and ginter but i bought a 07 Fleer Ultra and 1 pack of fleer ultra and 1 pack of bowman chrome. There were some great pulls. Best one was a Jason Bay Faces of the Game Game Used Jersey. Some others (not counting basecards) are Cal Ripken Jr Iron Man insert, Brian Roberts Fell the Game insert, Swing king insert of Miguel Cabrera, Ryan Braun Lucky 13 RC, and in the bowman chrome there was a white card of gregory porter.

What are blaster boxes?

The small shrink wrapped boxes of multiple packs of cards that sell from 9.99 to 19.99. They usually contain 7-9 packs of the set and are sealed so that pack searchers cannot get into them.

Usually good to get a taste of a product without spending big bucks on a box or grabbing loose packs that have been searched to heck and back.....

i love blaster boxes the ones i buy are 9.99 and have i think 15 packs in it almost everytime i pull at least game used jersey normally in like the 04 05 upperdeck alot

I have one A+G Blaster Box available if anyone wants it. PM me to work out a deal. I had a hard time finding them here, so I copped two and I haven't gotten around to opening the second box.
