im 17...if i am 5'10" and weigh 145 pounds will this effect my pitch speed. will gaining weight help???

p.s i throw from around 62-65mph

No, Tim Lincecum is 5'11, 160 and he throws 98 consistently.

But I'm sure it would help if you built up your core more.
