I am going to tryout for a team that says they are apart of AABC, USSSA, ECTB and Super Sandlott for fall ball. What level of competition are these and would they be worth going to? I've searched a few of them on the internet and they don't really explain what they are.

Thanks.

Canadiankid, my son has played USSSA and AABC, playing in the AABC World Series when he was 8. I guess if you compare LL to U-Trip or AABC, and I will use my sons age group which is 9-10. More kids play AABC and U-Trip here in Georgia.

LL - 11,12 and some 13 year olds pitch from 46ft.
AABC/U-Trip - 9,10 and some 11 year olds pitch from 46ft

That 11-12 year old age group in LL can throw curve balls
11-12 year Olds in AABC/U-Trip cannot throw curve balls

9-10 year Olds in AABC/U-Trip can steal bases
11-12 year Olds in LL cannot until the ball crosses the plate.

Pitchers in AABC/U-Trip are asked to hold runners
It is not a factor in LL.

At the age of 11-12 AABC and U-Trip pitcher will be moving back to 50ft.

These are just some of the differences

ECTB is a organization out of Pennsylvania that holds the USSSA franchise for the Northeast. Since you're in Canada I'll guess the team plays in the tournaments run in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area. If your team is really good they may come to Pennsylvania for the major tournaments.

CABA and AABC are competitors of USSSA. Each of these organizations have different levels of competition. I'm most familar with USSSA. USSSA has Majors, AAA, AA and A.

A few of my friends who play for the Ontario Blue Jays have played in AABC regionals and have gone to the world series, but I never knew exactly what it was. So this is a high level of competition?

If they have gone to an AABC world series they probably have faced some good competition along the way. There is only on level in AABC unlike USSSA. A lot of AABC teams also play U-Trip. In AABC you face teams of all different levels unlike U-Trip that is divided into different levels of competition.
