If a player is on team's 40-man roster, is it likely that you could get that player TTM from the major league team? Is better to send it in 2 weeks when the major league rosters expand?

I don't do TTM but can probably answer this question.
The 40-man is a roster on paper only. Several of the players on it are usually minor leaguers who signed MLB contracts. And, obviously, many of the players are not w/ the big club but with the AAA or AA club.
If you want to use the 40-man to focus on the main players of your team(which makes sense to me), I'd suggest simply tracking down the players on the minor league rosters.
As you know, callups come soon... as well as non-playoff minor league teams ending their season, with some players not being called up. Others can help you with timelines but I'd say those players who you think will be called up(the 40-man)... go ahead and send to the big club.
Otherwise you might wait until next season for some of the more obscure prospects.
