Ok so I was playin football and when we started two a days I strained my right hip and it hurts pretty bad to run, or even walk, I walk with somewhat of a limp now. So i know hips are very important to baseball players hitting, pitching, everything. And my doctor gave me an excuse to get out of practice for 2 weeks to rest it and go to physical therapy and if that didnt work he would give me a cortisol shot that would make it feel better and stronger. But physical therapy is booked until tuesday so i would be out for another week which would make me miss 2 games. I could either just not play football which I want too though. Or get the shot and play in the one week, or give me some options guys what should I do?
Playing f-b when unsure you want to is the best way I can think of to get seriously hurt.

Absolutely. And cortisone shots are not something you want to get in the habit of taking. Have you ever had a cortisone shot? That's a whole other kind of hurt. Does anyone know if they are allowed in high school sports? When I played college ball, the NCAA limited us to two a season.

I had a cortizone shot in my knee (Search this site for fungo knee) three weeks ago.
My knee felt great, but it only masks the damage and I will eventually need surgery. Being so young I would opt for the therapy and take a break.
You will eventually have to make some decisions playing multiple sports. If football's your sport then do what you can to get back on the field as soon as you can. If baseball is your sport then get well and be ready for next season.

This should make the answer easier for you.
