I have about 20 Baseball Cards from the year 1954 including Ted Williams locked in a safe in northern Illinois.. All the cards are in good condition! What's the going price for Ted Williams, 1954? I also have Jackie Jensen and others..

http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/4642/693qjpgzm2.jpg I copied this card from the internet! My Ted Williams card is in noticably better condition than this one! Note the rough edges on this 1954 Ted Williams card and the line of grime on the right and bottom edge! It also seems to have these white flecks which indicate exposure to moisture..Of course i wouldn't describe my card as mint-like fresh out of production, but it's certainly better than this card!

Why is it that Bowman's from the 50's are worth so much more? Because of the rarity of them?

Indeed. It was a short print, not even part of the regular set.
