Lost in the hoopla yesterday was Big Jim Thome, who struck out for the 2000th time. Thome is fourth on the all time list, just 3 Ks shy of Andres Galarraga, but still well behind Sammy Sosa and all-time leader Reggie Jackson.

Exactly, and I'll choose to remember the 149 OPS+. The man has been a HOF caliber hitter.

I hope he gets to 500 this year - only 10 to go

Hey, it's natural. Something else will be "current" at some point. :waving

Well, Neifi is closing in on his 500th RBI in only 12 seasons. He's stuck at 489 right now.

You never know, Neifi could go on a tear and crank his career OBP up to .300.

And like Barry Bonds, it will be short lived if Adam Dunn still keep striking out over 180-190 times a year.

LOL!

Neifi is so bad, that he remains the only ex Rockie that dosen't have his, home and away stats, thrown up on the board.
